This race was the second 10k race run on Thanksgiving morning. Race day was cool, damp with heavy low cloud. It was a very large field of nearly 14,000 runners with the race beginning and ending outside Paul Brown stadium. The large field again made it difficult to get a stride pattern and you are forever cutting the stride, dodging runners and moving back and for along the road to get a clear run.
