Four Folds of Subjectification

Deleuze's summarized Foucault's investigations into thinking of ethics differently in terms of Four Folds of Subjectification

1. Material part of the being

• What are the core businesses around everything hinges?
• How are these to be spent?
• What needs to be done to replenish them?

2. The power relations or the rules

• What are the rules?
• What codes do we look up to measure ourselves?
• What rules are applied for decision making?

Notice these deontic ethos driven approach should be added to the folds

3. Knowledge

• What relationships are important to us?
• Whose reactions allow us to see ourselves reflected?

4. The line of outside - the individual recognizes themselves different from others

• What do we do well?
• how will the differences be recognized
• What is our telos (purpose)?
• What is the organization's style?
