In response to a greater focus on Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery and the prolonged power outage in 2008 a 50KW Natural gas stand-by generator was installed in 2009 adjacent to the Data Center[1]
In the event of a power outage the generator will take-over from the UPS's and continue to power the servers and cool the Data Center until power is installed.
