Windows Sharepoint is a web-based application that hosts WNA Intranet portal running on SQL database. It is used to centralized data and used as a bulletin board to announce news to the WNA Users
The portal is divided in mini-sites some of which have restricted access. Two of the most popular sites are the Finance and IT Portal. On the Finance site both monthly and audit information is uploaded by the Finance department. IT uses the portal upload puplic and restricted user documentation and issues lists.
The IT department uses Windows Group Policy to force the intranet site as the user's Home Page on Internet Explorer.
The internal ip address is 192.168.10.17
Sharepoint 2010 went live on a new server on April 3rd 2012
