The local and long distance carrier is Time Warner Telecom. See also TwT Contract
Time Warner Telecom (TwT)[1] is a phone carrier that WNA uses in Covington, KY. Up until 2010 WNA had used AT&T almost exclusively. This made the administration of phone systems much simpler. There was one set of equipment and one call desk to contact. However, increasingly AT&T were less competitive in this space and new niche players can entered the market and offer competitive rates on certain product lines and geograhical markets.
This was true of TwT. Their circuits were already installed in the building so it enabled them to provide this service at a very competitive rate. The telphone lines come in over a PRI curcuit and TwT also provided a fractional T1 service for free. This is used for guests of WNA to access the internet without connecting to the Masergy network.
